The Rev’d Canon Robert Wills serves as the Canon Theologian for the Diocese and as Mentor/Instructor for St. Michael’s Seminary. After 18 years as a Charismatic/Pentecostal minister, Father Bob was ordained as a priest in 1997. Canon Wills has served the North American Church as a member of the St. Michael’s Seminary Committee since 2000 and as a member of  the Theology Commission since 2010. He has been Vicar of St. Luke Church in Manchester, Georgia since 2001. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Illinois in 1972, a Master of Education Degree from Columbus State University in 1979, a Master of Theology Degree from El Shaddai Theological Seminary in 1990, and a Doctor of Theology  from Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1996. He taught for 17 years in Middle School Education and later spent six years Teaching GED in various prisons for Southern Crescent Technical College.

From 1997-2013 Dr. Wills worked as a Mental Health Professional for Pathways and as a substance abuse counselor for Newnan Treatment Center. From 1988-94 he taught seminary classes and made eight mission trips to Belize, Central America with El Shaddai Theological Seminary with whom he served as Vice President and Dean of Education.  Canon Wills hold a 6th degree Black Belt (Rokudan Kyoshi) in Goju Karate.
